Rajee,
I'm making my grocery list. I don't go to the shop with all the herbs very often, but hope to make it soon. Looking forward to some Tamarind Gravy! It helped to find out that "Vendakkai" is "Okra", which we have here. I used to grow it and added it to soups. It was wonderful.

Jennifer,
Yes,it's very nice to hear from you. Taste will be great if u cook fresh okra from ur plants. You can use tamarind concentrate which would be quiet easy for u to cook. Tamarind concentrate is easily available in all indian grocery store. Try it and let me know. Pls send me okra soup. I need to try it. Best wishes,
Rajee
